To report child sexual abuse or exploitation on Qulture, use the report option on any content in the app, or email childsafety@joinqulture.com. No account is required. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Our commitment
Qulture has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any other sexualisation of a minor are strictly prohibited on Qulture, and we act on them ahead of every other category of report.
These standards describe what we prohibit, how anyone can report it, what we do when we receive a report, and how to reach the person responsible for this area. They apply to every part of the service: posts, comments, direct messages, Circles, Hotspots, profiles, and any other content a person can create or share.
This page is published in fulfilment of Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, and is available publicly and without an account.
Qulture is an adult platform
Qulture is intended solely for people aged 18 and over. Creating an account requires a date of birth, and anyone who enters a date of birth indicating they are under 18 is prevented from registering.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove the account and delete the associated data, whether we discover it through a report, our own review, or any other means.
Anyone may tell us about a suspected underage account using the reporting routes below.
What is prohibited
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including photographs, video, audio, illustrations, and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery.
Sexualisation of a minor, including sexual commentary about a minor, or content that presents a minor in a sexualised manner.
Grooming: building a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, including attempts to move a conversation to another platform for that purpose.
Sextortion: threatening to publish intimate imagery of a person in order to obtain more imagery, money, or any other benefit.
Trafficking of a minor, or advertising, soliciting, or facilitating any of the above.
Links, usernames, or references directing people to any of the above, whether hosted on Qulture or elsewhere.
How to report
In the app, every post, comment, profile, message, Circle, and Hotspot can be reported through the options menu on that content. Child safety is a dedicated reason in the report form, and reports submitted under it are escalated ahead of all other categories.
You do not need a Qulture account to report child safety concerns. Anyone, including people who do not use Qulture, can email childsafety@joinqulture.com, and reports sent this way receive the same escalation.
You may report anonymously. We never disclose the identity of a reporter to the person or content being reported.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Reporting to Qulture is not a substitute for contacting law enforcement.
What happens after a report
Content reported for child safety is removed from public view immediately, before review, rather than waiting for a moderator. We accept that this will occasionally hide content that turns out to be permissible; the alternative risk is not one we are willing to carry.
A trained reviewer then assesses the report. Where the report is substantiated we permanently remove the content, terminate the account and any linked accounts, and preserve the evidence required for reporting to the relevant authorities.
We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement requests in the jurisdictions in which we operate, in line with applicable law.
We retain records of child safety reports and the actions taken on them for as long as required by applicable law, separately from ordinary moderation records.
Prevention
Registration requires a date of birth and enforces an 18+ minimum on every sign-up route, including sign-in with Google and Apple.
Any user can block another user, which prevents contact in both directions.
Our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines prohibit the sexualisation of minors, and users accept them during onboarding.
Accounts removed for child safety violations are not permitted to return, and we take steps to prevent the creation of replacement accounts.
